IN June, THE participants of THE Kaunatas high school folklore group “Raznava” went to the “North Livonian Festival”, which took place in the city of Estonia in Haademeeste. It was not only nice people to come to Estonia, but also a beautiful time. So we went to a view tower where a beautiful look at the sea from one side and a swamp from the other. To get closer to the neighbour, we went to Pärnu, where the beach season was discovered. Concerts, craftsmen, were held in the streets. The children had strength and strength to walk through a 2 km long mole that opened a great view of the sea. Late in the evening we went back to our bed to attend the festival on the next day.
07.06. - was a festival day. From early morning there was a craftsman market where he could look at and buy local masters. A concert was held throughout the day, where the Estonian collectors of various municipalities took place. Latvia was also represented by the Ainaju dance group “date” and the children's dance collective. IN THE Kaunatas folklore set “Raznava” and “Razna”, the audience offered the Latgalian folk song, dance and musical performances. The Estonian people also gave the Estonian people a song that they took with great excitement and sang with them. In order for everyone to have a sense of husbandry, a soup that was presented at the festival park was offered at lunch. In parallel with the concert, there was also a fish soup competition on the spot. There, 1 st was acquired by the Latvian team. We went to watch and listen to the local pop and the artist concert. The main festival day was spent lovely, beautiful and busy.
Prior to the home, the organisers of the festival offered another nice event – a visit to the museum of nature, where students from the nearest schools drive to get all the necessary knowledge on the spot with new technologies. On the way back, we decided to see Ainaja mole in Latvia. This mole is much shorter compared to Pairnava's mole, but it is harder for it to be made of smaller stones. When we came back from the jetty, the leader of the Ainazi Cultural House was waiting for us, who showed us and introduced us to the local cultural life.
Every time we go, we make sure that contact, cooperation and the familiarity of other cultures are enriching and expanding our vision, as well as creating nice, positive emotions.
