Implementation of the project on improvement of social services IN Ilzeskalna civil parish
The municipality of Rezekne took part in the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 sub-measure 19.2. “Implementation of the action under a community-led local development strategy” in activity 19.2.2. In the 2 nd round of the project contest launched by the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” of the “place potential development initiative” and submitted at No. 2.3. Development of social and health services for the project “Improving and developing social services IN Ilzeskalna parish” (No 17-01-AL15-a019 .2203-000006).
THE application for a LAD project was assessed and decision No 05.06.2017 adopted Decision No 01.6-11/17/85-e on its support.
Total cost OF the project of EUR 24 748,19, eligible costs OF EUR 20 000, public funding OF 90% or EUR 18 000, Ilzeskalna parish co-financing OF EUR 6 748,19.
The aim of the project is to improve the availability and reach of social services IN THE parish OF Ilzeskalna by arranging the area of the multi-functional building.
The work planned within the framework of the project on the basis of public procurement and contract No 6.7/37 concluded on 02.08.2017. was performed BY SIA “V.J.M.CONSTRUCTION”. The period of execution of the works, in accordance with the contract concluded, was 15 September 2017, but due to objective circumstances - the big rain, the works were in brackets and were completed on 7 November 2017.
Within the framework of the project, the improvement of the surrounding area of the multi-functional building belonging to the municipality of Rezekne was performed:
- Paved stone walkways in 340 m2
- 2 ramps installed;
- Restored fence 265 m and 2 gates
An innovation was created in the implementation of the project, two ramps built in the area of the multi-functional building, which will solve the current problem, a person with reduced mobility and a mother with a baby carriages in the building. Ramps are installed at the entrance at the centre of the day “hand” and pre-school educational institution. By arranging the area of the multi-functional building IN THE parish OF Ilzeskalna, the availability and reach of services are improved, especially for socially vulnerable groups, as well as an orderly, attractive and comfortable environment for all visitors to this building.
