Seminar “prepared for export” will be held in Rezekne
On June 2, in Rezekne, Latgale embassy GORE (3 rd floor, conference room No. 330), a seminar organised by Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) will be held “prepared for export”. The seminar organised within the framework of the European Business Support Network project calls for new and emerging exporters to participate.
At the seminar, THE IDA experts will discuss the most important domestic work to be undertaken by businesses to successfully start exports. The following topics will be considered:
- Assessment of the exportability – is my company ready to export?
- Export strategy: why is it necessary? What is to be included in the strategy?
- Market research: how to identify the most appropriate export market? How to study the market and what information should be clarified?
- Export plan – adaptation of product and packaging to the market, suitable marketing materials, export activity plan;
- Contacts with foreign customers - correspondence, calls, visits etc. communication with potential partners;
- Intercultural relations: business culture and its specificities in the countries concerned;
- How can LIAA be helpful? - IDAL export support services, existing and planned State aid programmes for entrepreneurs.
