“Bayonet Vanguard” will take place in Rezekne and Viļānos

On 7 and 8 February, a training march “Bayonet Vanguard” will take place in the municipality of Rezekne and Viļānu, with more than 160 soldiers and a national guardsman from the National Armed Forces kājnieku Brigade and the 32 nd Battalion of the National Guard, as well AS THE 503 th National Brigade of THE U.S. 173 2.bat Brigadier.
50, 3 kilometers long learning Marsha aims to promote co-operation between Latvia and THE US soldiers, demonstrate the presence of Allies, as well as training soldier's individual resistance to the performance of small arms in winter conditions.
The training Marshall soldiers and national guardsmen will be accompanied by the Latvian Car Intelligence Track and US military areas in the HMMWV.
On February 8, Rēzekne, Ryan Park from plkst. 10:30 – 15:00 will take place in a technical exhibition that will be able to look at the military transport, equipment and weapons of Latvia and THE US, as well as to meet Latvian and US soldiers and learn more about their service duties.
The school march “Bayonet Vanguard” will take place between 6 and 9 February in all three Baltic States and Poland, where U.S. soldiers perform their duties as part of the “Atlantic Resolve” rotation. It will demonstrate NATO's ability to move freely throughout the Alliance, as well AS THE us's constant contribution to the security of the Baltic States.
On September 12, in the Ādaži landfill site, “Bayonet Strike”, in Latvia, returned TO the us 173 Brigadier soldier to perform service duties in “Atlantic Resolve”. The ability to arrive in an Allied country with a descendant proves readiness to respond rapidly to crisis situations and to move forces across Europe wherever necessary.
The attention of the people!
Residents are encouraged not to worry, seeing the movement of soldiers and national guardsmen outside military landfills and unit placements, the deployment of machinery and other equipment and the taking of positions in various locations of Latvia.
Armed forces apologise for inconvenience and seek to treat the potential temporary burdens of traffic movements that may arise due to the movement of military equipment by road.
