The young swimmers of the children-youth sports school of Rezekne are in their first competitions

On May 6, the Rēzekne State Border Guard swimming pool, the first swimming competitions for young Rēzekne's children-youth sports school bathers. In the course of the whole school year they were busy training and now had the chance to show their masterness. Coach Diana Gosteva said that the competition was successful and the interest in both the children and the parents was great.
In total, 27 swimmers, girls and boys of 2005 and 2009.dz took part in the competition. The small swimming swimming in the distance of 50 metres on their backs. All participants had been awarded a diploma for the results achieved and the winners also received medal and memorial prizes.
Aldis Ziukmacis, director of the Rēzekne municipality, is pleased that the lolotā idea of the opportunity for the children of Rezekne to deal with swimming has materialized and the result was evident in the emotions and skills of the little bathers they demonstrated.
