From 8 to 11 February, AT THE MONIKA Centrum Hotel in Riga, the 100 best Latvian ambassadors of Latvia were gathered in Riga, who, in various disciplines and age groups, entered the Latvian Youth Championship in the final 64-field checkbox. The Rēzekne municipality, a child-youth sports school IN THE U-16 age group, was represented by the neal Christine Malahovsky, who had finished 3 rd.
In four days, the competition took place in classic, high-speed and fast 64-bit checkers. In the classic tournament, 10 better Latvian young people played on a doughnut system each with each two micromacs with a reflection time of 30 minutes + 10 seconds for each trip to a party for each party. In the first place, it was clear that six girls could qualify for prizes and were not known until the last round. In the final round, Christine Malahovska won a party from Riga and the same number of points with 2 nd place, but a worse factor, 3 rd place was won. Elizabeth Norenberg, a school student of Limbazi and Salacgriva, was won 2 nd place, while the Latvian championship IN THE U-16 age group became the Dobele sports school student Valerija Zarovsky.
On the final day of the third day and the final day of the competition, two tournaments were played at the fast-playing and fast checkers, where they had 3 minutes + 2 seconds for each of their trips and 7 minutes + 5 seconds respectively. Also in these tournaments, the struggles were very intense and all the girls struggled for the prizes.
Christine Malahovsky, a high-speed tournament, won 3 rd place. Elizabeth Norenberg became the champion, and Valerie Zarovsky ranked 2 nd. While Valerie Zarovsky became a champion in the fast checker, the 2 nd place was won by the Riga 72 nd Secondary School in July Poļansky, and the 3 rd place was again won by the nephew Christine Malahovska.
At the end of the tournament, all prize winners with cups, medals and valuable prizes were welcomed by the newly elected President of the Latvian Checkers Union, Robert Misāns.
The 3 rd place acquired in the Latvian final gives Neal Christine Malahovskaya the opportunity to represent Latvia in European and world youth championships, which will be held in the Bulgarian city of Kranevo in late April and August.
