National Olympics laureates will be honoured at the Rēzekne District Council

On April 30, at 10.00 at the municipality of Rēzekne, a formal meeting of the council will be held at the municipality of Rēzekne, during which the national stage of the national stage will be honoured. In general, seven prizes have been taken by students from the national-level Olympics in the 2013/2014 school year. Thank you for the work you have done will be said to both students who have represented the Rēzekne municipality and teachers who have spent their time outside the school and prepare pupils for successful start-ups in Olympics. This year, the parents of “olimpies”, whose contributions to the development and support of their children are invaluable, will also be invited to the solemn acceptance. In gratitude for the work, knowledge and achievements of the students, students and their teachers will receive money prizes, while following the formal sitting for pupils, their parents and teachers, the municipality of Rezekne will give the opportunity to watch the flamenco dance exhibition “white and black” in the concert hall “Gors”.

Rezekne municipality pupils – national stage olimpeppers laureates:

  • Arnolds Gailums, Nautrēnu Secondary School of Class 9 – 1 st place in Latvia and World History Olympics;
  • Guna Barkane, Nautrēnu secondary school class 12 – 2 nd place in the country in the Latvian language and literature Olympics;
  • Andris Snigris, Maltas 1 st Secondary School of Class 12 – 3 rd place in the country history Olympics and recognition in geography Olympics;
  • Elvita Kotane, Nautrēnu secondary school class 9 - recognition in Latvia and World History Olympics;
  • Margarita Maļavko, Maltas 1 st secondary school students - 3 rd place in the country Russian-language Olympics;
  • Victoria Graidāne, 8 th grade student of Zarečnajas primary school – 2 nd place in the Latvian language Olympics.

A money prize and a gratitude article on targeted work with talented pupils will be received:

  • Anita Ruth – the Latvian language teacher of the Rēzna elementary school;
  • Veronica Dundure – Nautrēnu secondary school Latvian language and literature teacher;
  • Valentine Turlaja – Nautrēnu secondary school history teacher;
  • Vija Helkovich – Maltas 1 st secondary school teacher;
  • Regina Bikovich – Maltas 1 st secondary school Russian-language teacher;
  • Valentine Chepele - Maltas 1 st High School History teacher.
