Rēzekne municipality, Kalupes and Lithuanian women's basketball teams
Rezekne municipality amateur basketball the “Moseņis” team is accompanied by the promotion and strengthening of the basketball game in and outside the municipality.
Therefore, in search of the possibilities in which the women's basketball team “Moseņis” could participate in the new season of 2017/2014, the sports specialist Igor Derjagin came up with the idea - in collaboration with representatives of the Kalupes (Daugavpils nov.) and the Lithuanian Republic's women's basketball teams, to organize the Latvian-Lithuanian amateur women's team competition in basketball for the 2014-2018 season. As a result, the Rēzekne municipality, Kalupes, as well as the Lithuanian city Rokišku and Kupišku teams will meet at four crossings, each of them taking their seats in their area.
Two milestones have now taken place. The first matches took place on 25 November 2017 at the Kalupes team area in Shpogos. In an intense and interesting fight in the basketball area 1 st place was won by the women's basketball team “Moseņis”, 2 nd place – Rokiški team (Lithuania) and 3 rd place – Kalupes team.
The second milestone was organised by the Lithuanian Rokiški team. This milestone grew interesting, because after all the games played, the 1 st place was won by the women's basketball team “Moseņis”, but the rest of the team won the same score. The distribution of points was followed by the following: 2 nd place for the Rokiški team, 3 rd place for the Kalupes team.
Rokiška City's hospitality, the excellent technically organized three-point contest, between the best three-point throwers of each team. At the end of each player's games, the sponsor's rusty prizes were received.
The participants of the third milestone will take up the Kupišku team in their area, but the fourth final final will take place in Rēzekne District.
