The cultural institutions of Rezekne shall resume operation in compliance with the requirements of sanitary protocols

The cultural/People's homes and libraries of the Rezekne municipality have resumed, and their visitors will also be taken by the museums of the municipality. THE History Museum OF Maltas will be opened to visitors on 18 May, Francis Trassa Museum “Colnasate” – 20 May, Bērzgales parish Anton Rupaja Museum – 1 June.
The activities of cultural institutions after 12 May 2020 are regulated by a set of requirements, or so-called sanitary protocols, which were prepared by the Ministry of Culture. The provisions of the Sanitary Protocols shall enter into force on 13 May after publication in the “Latvijas Vēstnesis”.
Cultural sites including cultural houses, libraries, museums shall be commenced as soon as they have been fully prepared with the requirements of the sanitary protocol issued by the Minister for Culture.
Main requirements for the organisation of cultural events, libraries and museums:
• ensure that there are no more than 25 persons at the same time, at the same time no more than one visitor per 4 m2, subject to a distance of 2 metres;
• the duration of the event does not exceed three hours;
• in premises, including toilet facilities, clearly legible information with a reminder of compliance with hygiene requirements.
• Visitors need to comply with the requirement that there are symptoms of disease or an obligation to respect self-insulation/domestic quarantine without being investigated by the authorities.
Amateur artistic efforts are not allowed!
