Rēzekne District Mākoņkalna parish mail services are adjusted for demand

Due to low postal service demand, the Rēzekne municipality, as of 1 December 2018, changes the business model of the Lipušku post office, adapting it to the real needs of the population. In the future, Lipuškos postal services will be provided every weekday at the current address of the school street 3 from 8 to 9. All postal services will be available at the place of delivery of postal services, or citizens will be able to choose to receive them at their place of residence.
In view of the low demand for postal services in the Lipušku post office, which gives Latvia an annual loss of approximately eur 5500, the business model and working time of the post office will be changed, but all the necessary postal services will continue to be available to the population.
As far as so far, all postal services and other services provided by Latvian postal services will be available to the public at the place of provision of Lipušku postal services: receipt and transmission of simple and registered domestic and cross-border letter correspondence, receipt and transmission of domestic and cross-border postal parcels, purchase of stamps and envelopes, subscriptions of press publications, contributions to the postal settlement system (PNS) account, payment of money transfers, payment of utility payments and other invoices and purchase of commercial goods in retail trade.
For any region of the region, there is already a wide range of possibilities to receive the necessary postal services at the postage directly in his place of residence. The poster at the place of residence of the client shall ensure the transmission of postcards and letters, the purchase of stamps and envelopes, the lodging of mail delivery at home, the subscription of press expenses, the receipt of money and receipt of the pension, the payment of utilities and other invoices, contributions TO THE PNS account, etc.

Upon receipt of a call for withdrawal of a registered shipment, the residents shall have the opportunity to submit a free receipt of the consignment at the place of delivery of the Lipušku postal service, in advance by telephone 25700118 and indicating the date on which the customer wishes to receive the postal item. While attending a Kaunatas post office in Raznas Street 38, receipt of consignments without prior application is possible every working day from 8 to 13.
The number and location of the places of provision of postal services shall be determined by a decision of the Council of the Commission of the Public Service Regulator regarding the obligations of the universal postal service, which stipulates that the postal service in the territorial unit of each municipality shall have at least one place of provision of postal services.
The people of lipušku are informed of the further possibilities of receiving postal services after 1 December, receiving information notices in their mailboxes from 5 November.
