The Rēzekne municipality comes up with a children's song cd and a note in Latgalian language

At the end of the year in Rezekne's municipality, a Christmas man has been generous, giving a nice gift - Guntras Kuzminas – a collection of Jukna's creative work/songs in the “Sirdsghen” and the children's song cd “Room”.
Both expenditures have been financed with financial support from the Latgale Region Development Agency, the State Culture Capital Fund and A/S “Latvian State Forests”. Co-financing was provided by the municipality of Rezekne and THE parish administration OF Bērzgales.
Guntras Kuzminas-Yuknas 38 original compositions with Latgalian author I. Atpiles-Juganes, O. Slišana, V. Vogula, I.Sperga, L.Rundanes, J.Skrivu-Cheveres, F.Murane, A.Runcha, as well as Guntras's texts and the finishing of Latgalian peoples for musical configurations. The amount of the fund allocated to the project shall be EUR 1500.00.
The children's song cd “Room” is dedicated to the memorial of the poet Onton Slišana, and is accompanied by 12 songs and instrumental accompaniments along with the smaller singers of the Royal studio “Skonai”. As the disc author Guntra Kuzmina - Yukna notes, this disc is one of the first, if not the first, children's cd in Latgalian language. The Fund funding allocated to the project is EUR 1000.00.
Both expenditures will be given to schools, libraries, pre-school educational institutions of Rezekne, the main libraries of Latgale municipality.
Shortly before Christmas in Rēzekne's county hall, the presentation of the two expenses coincided with a 5-year anniversary of the vocal studio “Skonai” in the “Sasatikšonuos” event. There was a song, an applause, warm words of gratitude, both from the listener and from the composer Guntras Kuzmina-Yuknas and the singers themselves.
