A health promotion camp for children with special needs took place in Rezekne municipality
In August, a “health promotion camp for children with special needs” was held in Rezekne municipality, which was organised BY THE ESF project “live healthy in Rezekne District” implemented by the municipality of Rezekne. No 9.2.4.2/16/I/027. 10 children of Rezekne, with special needs as well as their guides, took part in the camp. The camp members survived seven interesting daily SIA “Rehabilitation Centre“ Razna ”, during which they participated in various activities.
Every day began with the morning rotation in nature, and after active gymnastics we enjoyed green, healthy cocktails.
In the course of the week, all the participants of the camp were in the direction of interesting and knowledgeable teachers who said, showed, drew, sported. With Inga Gadrim, we painted the sand, and then the beautiful coloured sand lay on the cardboard and shaped the world of our dreams. The sands were genuinely useful, both fingers and children's mind. The teacher's League Gabe gave us a wonderful day, all children enjoyed healthy juices, lemonade, cocktails, ice cream, natural, delicious coffee. At the end of the camp, each member had to wrap his lucky shirt from the paper, who reminded us of the time spent together.
When the sun was in the sky, Inese Krasovsky came to us with interesting sports activities. We all filled with the joy of movement, tried to run, jump, jump, turn around our sharp and dirt. There seems to be no more than moving, moving and running, and that is very important because the whole body is a healthy spirit. The surprise for all the camp participants was Griškānu civil parish 'YOLO' youth arrived, playing the ball together, going to the 'expedition' in search of treasure.
It was a real joy for all the dogs that could be swept, stroked, fed, combed and parked. One of the most interesting events was the trip to the horses, where each touched the soft muzzle of the trotter, fed the horse with bread and photographed them.
Some thanks must be given to teacher Tatjana Tokarer and Emily Razgaard, who cared for the creative workshops, for movement activities and for each moment with the participants. The scented and key pillows, soap pumps, beautiful and non-reproducible paintings were prepared under their guidance. It was time for fruit candies - in this process you could cut the knife, get to know the different fruits, and then enjoy it together.
The time passed through the wings of the wind, and it had gone through seven days, which were impressive and unreproducible.
