“Photo days” will be held in Rezekne municipality
The municipality of Rezekne, in collaboration with Latgale photographer association (manager Igors Pličs), organizes the second “photo days” from 6 to 8 October, with photographs from all Latvia. The first “photo days” in Rezekne municipality were held in spring 2015 for the honorable photo masters Jānis Gleizdam on his home side – Ilzeskalna and Nautre parish, as well as in the parish of Lendes and Berzgales. This time the photographer will be invited to memorize the autumn magnificence and diversity in another side of the Rēzekne municipality – Ozolaine, Makoņkalns, Luznava, Feimane, Sakstagala and Maltese.
The photo days will begin on the afternoon of October 6, when the opening of the event at Ozolaine parish school will take place in the opening of the event, the distribution of photographed parishes and introduction to guides – local residents who will show the most interesting places, buildings, Latgalian traditions, natural wealth and people in the following days. On Saturday, on Saturday, the photographer will have the opportunity to demonstrate their talent, skills and unusual vision, perpetuating the autumn mosaic in the parish of the Rezekne municipality.
On Friday and Saturday evening, there are various lectures, presentations, and discussions on the artistic art.
In gratitude for the reception, photographs of the photographs taken during the “photo days” will be given by the photographer. The local government will be entitled to use these photographs in non-commercial publications, websites and advertisements, indicating the author. While the public holidays are expected, the best works can be seen in the exhibitions at every parish cultural house, as well as in the municipality of Rezekne municipality in Rezekne.
