Rēzekne Municipality of Ozolaines parish folklore “Zealand” new suits

As the festival “Baltica 2018” is approaching, the project “Lobs lobby” proposed by the Association for Rural Development of the European Union Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) is concluded with the support of the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 “Purchase of the People's suits for the municipality of Rēzekne” FOR THE “Zealand” tree of Ozolaines parish. No 17-01-AL15-a019 .2202-000027). The project was presented in the 2 nd round of the project contest launched by the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” in the 2 nd round of THE EAFRD Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020. “Implementation of the action under the community-led local development strategy” activities 19.2.2. “Place potential development initiatives”.
During the implementation of the project, new shirts, brunches, waistcoats, crowns, shoulder scarves, villaines, etc. were purchased for the folklore tree “Zealand”, which would complement and improve the visual image of the folklore set, as the existing suits were worn and not sufficient to fit all the participants appropriately. The embroidery of the women's shirt-collar was dedicated to the embroidery of each of the wedding.
The folklore “Zealand” is actively participating in events in both Ozolaines parish and Rezekne municipality. There is currently an active preparation for the celebration event AT Ozolaines parish in the People's House, for membership of 21. In the International People's music festival “Skaniet Cimbalas and Ermoņikas” Postavi (Belarus) and festival “Baltica 2018”.
The total amount of the project is EUR 4034,80, of which EAFRD funding - 3631,32 EURO (90%), co-financing of the association “Lobs lobby” - EUR 403.48 (10%).
