Culture

Every person has a talent. One of them is purposefully developed from childhood, another sparkling every time as a hobbie, another at a respectable age, realizing his creative abilities. It turns out that they are particularly talented to those who spend their lives in the old people's homeland. The operation results in a positive borrowing, resulting in a real heart beat. For nearly two weeks, the Sherjan CN covered the exhibition of the creative works of the old people of Rezekne (Shergans, Pilcene).
It was a wonderful painting that Aivars Kice was looking for. He is 64 years old and he stays from 2014 in Pilcenes. With color and brush on the canvas, Aivars created real masterpieces - both natural landscapes and portraits and self-portraits.
The eyes were delighted by Yuri Vjalkin (77 years) of cardboard and other buildings of different buildings, which were very close to concrete buildings in their appearance. In the magazine, we recognize the buildings of Pilcene Church, the prayer of the Old Believers of Puderova, the buildings of the Pilcenes Home, etc.
Emily Golubova (69 years) had offered her own works – very beautiful knitted gloves and socks. Jolanta Lāce (44 years), who on people with disabilities become a child as a result of cerebral stroke, within the limits of their options actively engaged in tamboring. The exhibition could look at Jolanta's darted floorboards.
A great deal of pleasure and satisfaction were also on other work - greeting cards, candles, paper flowers and butterflies, applications, small hats made of coloured yarn that fit beautifully in Christmas decorations. Authors of works - Yevdoky Semjonova (85 years), Veneranda Krūmiņa (79 years) and Emilia Goluba (69 years).
A large wall decorator had been brought to the exhibition, made of wooden twigs and woollen camels. A whole team, Emilia Goluba, vija Stolere (52 years), Irina Shņukute (56 years), Agnes Migliniece (25 years), Angela Kluše (77 years), Anton Weikšan (81 years), Vasilia Volkov (25 years) and Valentin Klimons (59 years) took part in the development of the decoration.
The inhabitants of the village and the authors of the works were invited to the opening of the exhibition. In expressing warm gratitude for daring and joy of joy for others, THEY spoke AT Stružānu parish government representative Sylvia Igaune. The Employee of the Cultural House, Sarmitte Stepina and Leocadia Razgale, handed the exhibition to the authors of the exhibition.
The authors themselves were very pleased with the opportunity to show their own business and were willing to share their stories. Not less important to these people was the fact that their stories were also heard, sometimes harsh, cruel, complicated, at the same time infinitely interesting. Although part of their lives have to be spent in national care, these people do not lack optimism and faith in the good, consciousness that their performance creates a soul joy for many people.
Thank you for your responsiveness and co-operation in the Rēzekne municipality for the management of the old people's homeland – long Lizdika in Sherjans and Olga Piļka Pilcene, as well as social workshops for Anita Daugulei, Maruta Pavilukai and League Skutelei.
The exhibition was attended by parish residents, students of Jaunjjan elementary school, CN amateur members and other stakeholders.
If the interest in the old people will also arise in other parish, then contact with the management of the nurse, the exhibition can certainly be organized in local cultural houses, schools, etc. For the sake of health, energy and work, all the authors of the exhibition will continue to create wonderful hearts, but for us, the younger generation, the days are to be managed with the same lifetime and faith that these people do not miss!
Leocadia Razgale,
