Representatives of Rezekne municipality participate in the international musical festival in Belarus

From 8 to 10 June, the International People's Music Festival “sounding cimbalas and harmonics” was held in Vitebsk District Postavos, Belarus, which traditionally participated in the delegation of the municipality of Rezekne and THE COLLECTIVE “Zealand” of THE parish of Ozolaines parish.
On the first day of the festival, the People's collective concert in the Postava district, the opening concert and the village council presentations were held on the second day, as well as the presentation of all visitors. On the third day of the event, the concerts were held at church and the Border Guard orchestra defiling the programme, the festival participants' walk and the final concert.
The music festival “sounds cimbals and harmonics” in Belarus has been held for the 29 th time, bringing together collections from all Belarus, as well as Lithuania, Estonia, Russia and India. Concerts took place in 15 different concert areas in both Postavos and district. The festival is one of the ten most important musical festivals in Belarus, the festival is one of the ten most important musical festivals in Belarus: “festival takes place for 29 years, the festival has participated in more than 600 musical collections. In Belarus we celebrate the year of the little homeland that year, and in the festival we also honour our leaders who have spoken at national level. Among our guests have been representatives from Germany, Poland, Kazakhstan, Venezuela. We're very happy about guests. '
The music festival brings together both closer and further guests. “For us, this festival is the main annual event in the city and district. In the festival we are particularly honest with the musical instrument - the gloves, which have been put in the form of a white Russian version by the music masters of Vitebsk district, the festival guest, the main editor of the Postava radio station Vladimir shiks.“ There have always been a lot of talented music masters on our side, who have been able to make both the gloves and the violets. ”We are proud of our counselor, Tadez Stružecki, who has made a great contribution to the development of musical instruments on the side of Vitebsk," said Vladimir shick.
The most important event of the festival was the big concert, the first part of which was professional music collectors from Belarusian music colleges and universities, while in the second part the viewers were pleased by self-employed workers, including Ozolaines parish folklore collective “Zealand”. A delegation from India was interested in the greatest viewers' interest. As the representative of the Indian delegation Sukhpal Sinah said, the Indian amateur collective consists of representatives from various provinces: “we very much like the music festival, we see that we are very interesting to both local and guests, everyone comes to us and wants to take photos.”
Representatives of Rezekne municipality have been participating in the festival for 14 years. “I enjoyed the event very much”, said the executive director of Rezekne Municipality Janis Troška, “the festival's biggest accent was on local folklore wealth, as well as the attention of guests. They liked the guests from India, they were very exotic and invisible. Such festivals are an opportunity for our people to explore the culture of other nationalities, as well as the possibility for the local government to establish new contacts with both Postavans and other cities. Local government delegations had the opportunity to visit the Postava production company, which deals with the production of parquet, cultural and recreational park, museum. Thank our Belarusian friends for the excellent organized event. '
Inara Pleikšne, head of the municipal cultural division of Rezekne, added that the festival - they are not just concerts: “there was also a variety of lectories between concerts, where all collective representatives were able to acquire new knowledge in the field of music. I think it was a unique opportunity for collective learning because the lectures were read by world-class professionals - Belarusian music universities and college teachers. '
