The municipality of Rezekne invites the site planner to work

The municipality of Rezekne is invited by the municipality to work in the planning department of the spatial planning.
Requirements for applicants:

• higher education in the field of architecture, landscape architecture, spatial planning, land-use or engineering;
•  appropriate professional experience in the field of planning;
• desirable work experience in a national or local government institution;
• the ability to focus on spatial planning issues;
• good skills in working with computer (MS Office programs, skills to use graphics programs (MicroStation and/or ArcVieW, AutoCAD) will be considered an advantage) and office technique;
• good co-operation skills, ability to logically think, analyse, organize and work independently;
• excellent knowledge of the national language.

 Principal duties: 

• knowledge of local government spatial planning documents, participation in the development and co-ordination of documents or amendments thereto;
• prepare answers, opinions, administrative acts and inquiry projects on project development planning documents and other development planning issues;
• to prepare a statement regarding the planned utilisation of the parcels and regarding the conformity of the planned operation with the spatial plan, regarding the encumbrances of the immovable property object specified in the spatial plan;
• provide advice to customers on matters falling within their competence;
• ensure the publication of development planning documents in the spatial development planning information system (TAPIS).
