The municipality of Rezekne informs the municipality of the introduction of restrictive measures in relation to the emergency situation in the country

An order approved by the Cabinet regarding the announcement of an emergency situation, due to the spread of the virus COVID-19, shall provide for the following:
1. State and local government authorities to assess and, as far as possible, ensure the provision of full-scale services at a distance;
2. in order to attend a pre-school educational institution, to require parents to submit to the pre-school educational institution a written statement on 13 March 2020 that the child and family have not visited the countries or territories affected by Covid-19, have not been in contact with Covid-19, or the contact persons and parents are not allowed to otherwise provide the child's care;
3. discontinue the course of the learning process at all educational institutions, providing the lessons from 13 March 2020, with the exception of centralised national tests;
4. to stop the learning process of all cultural education and sports professional orientation and interest education programmes (training, competitions and attempts);
6. abolish and ban all public events, meetings, travel and pickets over 200 people by 13 March 2020;
4. Within the limits of options, cancel, transfer and schedule work visits and missions to the countries and territories affected by Covid-19, from which special precautions should be taken when returning, in accordance with the information published on the website of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control;
5. medical treatment institutions, social care institutions to restrict visits to a third party, except with the permission of the head of the institution;
The municipality of Latvia calls on residents not to visit the public and local government institutions without need, if the services are provided remotely, not to gather in order to reduce the risk of contamination.
All cultural and other events, where more than 200 people gather, are also cancelled, and the business day planned on 19 March is also moved. The parish of the population meeting is also cancelled.
We call on people to be responsible and, as far as possible, cancel, transfer and plan work visits and missions to the countries and territories affected by Covid-19, from which special precautions should be taken, in accordance with the information published on the website of the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control.
