An international conference on “Children's needs and opportunities” will be held in the municipality of Rezekne.

On October 15, that year 10.00, Rēzekne District Council, Liberation Alliance 95A, Rēzekne, foundations “Social Services Agency” in collaboration with Rēzekne municipality council and Rezekne City Council organise an international conference “the needs and help opportunities of the child”. Conference setting is the natural need for each child to grow in the family
The children and family social service specialists of Latgale region will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with both other versions of the family in the implementation of a family environment process in risk cases and the planning of community-based services, and with the best Latvian experience in shaping these offers. Invited professionals interested in the discussion on the development of community-based services are invited to participate. The event will be managed by moderator Ansis Bogustov. Such conferences have already been held in Zemgale region in Jelgava, Kurzeme region Liepāja, now meeting in Latgale region in Rezekne and a little later in Vidzeme region in Smiltene.
