In the municipality of Rezekne, a lawyer Karss will work on the building inspector.

By 19 May, the municipality of Rezekne was invited by the local government to apply for candidates for the vacant position of the local government building inspector. Four applicants were applied for a vacancy, two of which were in conformity with the requirements of the competition, and they were invited to the second round of the competition on 22 May. After negotiations, Juris Karss was selected as the most appropriate tenderer.
To date, Juris Kars has worked as a construction project engineer and construction manager in various construction projects, including Riga thermal power stations TEC-1 and TEC2 reconstruction, water supply and sewage treatment projects in Riga, Tukums, Sigulda and elsewhere. Karss currently operates as a builder, carrying out technical surveys and expert-examination of various construction projects. Jurim Karsam has a master's degree in construction, as well as a building inspector certificate and a certificate of construction practice.
The new building inspector is planned to commence the construction of the Rēzekne municipality in early July.
