The municipality of Rezekne will sign a cooperation agreement with the municipality of Agdasha from Azerbaijan

From 9 to 11 July, representatives of the province of Agdasha (Ağdaş) from Azerbaijan will be visited by the municipality of Rēzekne to sign a joint cooperation agreement between municipalities. The Treaty will provide for cooperation in a number of areas: entrepreneurship, education, culture, sport and the exchange of information in youth work.

A Member of the Azerbaijan Parliament, elected from the Agdasha district, Javid Osmanov, Deputy Executive Director of the Agdasha District, Ali Karimov, and Chairman of the municipality of Agdasha Galibs Garajevs, will be represented on the visit of the agdah districts. The arrival of the delegation is coordinated by the responsible secretary of the National Association of Azerbaijan, Tofik Hasanov.

During the visit, the Azerbaijani guests are expected not only to sign a cooperation agreement, but also to meet the work of the municipality of Rezekne, as well as the business and tourism opportunities in Rezekne municipality. The delegation will visit several parish councils, Dricānu and Maltas in secondary school, Lūznavas manor, a watercourse development centre “lighthouse” on the coast of Luban Lake, tourist accommodation “Ezerkrasti”, as well as Jānis Kuzminska guitar manufacturing workshop IN Kaunatas parish.
