By 16 February, an exhibition dedicated to the decade of Razna Nature Park was held in the municipality of Rezekne. The author of large-format works is the photographer Andris Eglītis. In his works he has reflected the natural and landscape values of the Razna National Park, several of them in short-term plans. The exhibition builds on the activities of the multisectoral project “Sustainability of Latvia - educated people and the preservation of natural values” within the framework of “Razna National Park Natural Values and a Park 10 Year anniversary”. The project is dedicated to Latvia's centenary and implemented with financial support from the Latvian Environment Protection Fund and the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development.
For more than 10 years in the municipality of Rezekne, a great tradition of deploying the exhibitions of the municipality of the municipality of Rēzekne. The painting and photographs of both local and other artist artists have taken place. The cooperation is beneficial both to artists who can show their works to the general public, people who are not able to spend time on the day of museums and exhibitions and a municipality in which new and interesting works are always considered.
Inara Pleikšne, head of the municipal cultural division of Rezekne, has held such exhibitions for a long time and is very demanding: “the municipality in the lobby is very well suited to the organisation of such exhibitions, they are extensive, the day is excellent natural light, but at night it is the only place where art works can be seen even from outside.”
The exhibitions enjoy not only local visitors, but also its employees. The Method of Education in Biruta Rephane says that the examination of exhibition works always gives positive emotions: “when i come to work, i always spend a moment to look at the exhibition.” It enjoys me all day because the works displayed are very nice and have a good impression on the whole day. '
Next will be the exhibition of the artist Ilze Griezānes, head of the Latvian Centre for Arts and Crafts, which will be seen from 19 February.
