Residents of the municipality of Rezekne and institutions of the institutions may be used as a holiday on 7 January

As the Orthodox and Old Believers' Christmas is celebrated on 7 January, an order issued by the municipality of Rēzekne, which allows for the use of 7 January as a holiday at the municipal employees belonging to these confessions. It should be noted that employees who will be used as a holiday on 7 January will have to work out during this year. The heads of the local government administration, institutions and parish administrations shall be responsible for ensuring that the activities of the institutions are ensured on this day.
