The municipality of Rezekne will visit a co-operation partner from Norway

From 21 to 23 October, an exchange visit to the municipality of Rezekne will host social and educational workers from the municipality of Arendal in Norway. At the beginning of the visit, the representatives of the municipality of Rezekne will discuss the work of the social service as well as the work of the local government with children with special needs, while the Norwegian colleagues will inform about the organisation of social work in the municipality of Arendal. On October 22, meetings will be held with social service providers, including the visit of the Rēzekne municipality and its branch Pilcene, as well as a meeting with the social worker OF Nautrēnu parish. Similarly, the representatives of Norway will visit the special education support centre of the municipality of Rezekne, Maltas special boarding school and children's oasis IN parish Mākoņkalna. On the closing day of the exchange of experience – 23 October – the delegation will meet with representatives of the social service of the City of Rezekne.
