Rezekne's “autumn cup” in volleyball women

On October 22, Vamov's sports hall took place in the Volleyball Championship of the Rēzekne District.
6 teams (“Rezekne”, “Bērzgale”, “Maltas High School”, “Adamova”, “Arniks” and “Malta”) struggled for the cup.
Games were played by circular system. Each team had to play five games. The day was long and strained.
The “arnik” team ranked in the 1 st place. The winner team was played by Leonid Obrumane, Irene Rananne, Catherine Rudzīte, Linda Bumbesha, Marina Locka, Alaon Stalcova, Diana Radkuna, and Maria Chernavsky.
The intense fight turned to 2 nd-3 rd place between Maltas and Adamovas teams. The Adamov players won more points, leading to 2 nd place, leaving Maltas player 3.
The winners of the prize were awarded with cups, diplomas and medals.
It should be noted that a large number of work has been invested in the training of the new generation. Observed growth is in the Rēzekne team (coach Arnis enclosed), Bērzgales team (coach Oļegs Zukov) and Maltas in high school team (coach Anita Gudrika). In practice, girls will quickly create competition for experienced players.
