Customer service centres begin to operate in Rezekne District

In order to allow residents of the Rezekne municipality to receive the services of public institutions even faster, more convenient and irrespective of the declared place of residence, from May Dricaanas, Kaunatā, Maltā and Nautrēnu parish in Rogovka begin to operate in Rēzekne District Customer Service Centres (CAC).

On May 2, an opening event was held in the municipality of Rezekne. “I wish that CAC's guiding theme is: provide all the information and help you need, but if you don't know, contact those who know. The customer must receive answers at once and be satisfied not only when entering, but also leaving the customer service centre in the presence of the present, the Chairman OF the Rēzekne District Council Monvīds Švarcs. A wall clock with the Rēzekne municipality logo and the name“ Customer Service Centre ”was presented to each centre at the opening event.

The establishment of national and local government service centres is an initiative of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Regional Development (VARAM) so that citizens can receive information or advice as close as possible to their place of residence, as well as submit submissions to the public authorities.

At the beginning of that year, WE CAN grant a grant to the municipality of Rezekne for the establishment and maintenance of CAC, the purchase of new hardware and multi-functional equipment, as well as a centre for the remuneration of employees. The total budget for the establishment and maintenance OF the four Rēzeknes is eur 28 550, including EUR 19 200, and EUR 9250 is co-financing by the municipality.

According to CAC's methodical manager, Oscars Vasilyev, the residents will be able to receive not only the local government but also the nine public institutions' services together: “in centres, customers will be able to register their domestic animals, which are the service provided by the agricultural data centre, to submit a submission for the acquisition of the status of unemployed persons and jobseekers, to receive support for the submission of the residence declaration, which is the services of citizenship and migration affairs, to submit an annual income declaration and to receive support for the use of the electronic declaration system, as well as to fill in the applications for the receipt of the different national social benefits.” It should be noted that the population will be serviced by employees of the current parish council, who participated in training in Riga in March and early April, in order to acquire additional knowledge and skills necessary to be able to help each visitor on issues of local government and public institutions.

Customer service centres:

  • In drying: “Parish house”, Dricans, Dricānu civil parish (customers will be serviced by Maria Zahare and Lāsma Troška),
  • Kaunatā: Raznas Street 38, Kaunatā, Kaunatas civil parish (customers will be serviced Janīna Kairiša, Antonia Gaya and Anita Proveja),
  • Maltā: School street 24, Maltā, Maltas parish (customers will be serviced by Ineta Skudra and Larisa Igolniece),
  • In rogovka: “Parish house” in Rogovka, Nautrēnu parish (customers will be serviced by Elita Velikāne and Lilly Migliniece).

All CAC will work on working days from 8.00 to 16.30 with half-hour lunch breaks while Maltas CAC working time is between 8.00 and 17.00 with an hour-long lunch break.
