On December 12, the Rēzekne municipality received another humanitarian relief from the city of Raseborg. The cargo was handled by members of the Raseborg Lutheran parish, who had collected their belongings for several months to Latvia. “This is the nineteenth time we arrive in Latvia with humanitarian aid, our consignment contains clothing, hygiene goods, children's chariots and chairs. All things are clean, in good condition, shrugged from heart, we are very pleased that we can help Latvian people who need it”, says Lars Ove Bakmans (Lars-Ove Backman).
All things are delivered TO THE parish OF Lendžu, where the parish will be stored in the premises of the former school until distribution along the Rēzekne municipality. The property is carefully sorted, indicating age, gender - individual men's, women's and children's clothes, footwear. The head of the Rēzekne municipality, Sylvia Strankale, said that the property would be distributed to residents of the municipality who were in a crisis situation.
