Education

This autumn, Rēzekne's main school (now -- the child and family centre “wiltoli”) will meet the 85 th anniversary. The school opened its doors on 1 October 1930. In the meantime, more than 1200 pupils have completed it and 150 teachers have worked as teachers.
On 28 June, the closed school called for their former pupils and teachers to warm up to the memory fires, to walk the classes and corridors where they were born 70, 60,.... 10, 7 years. The big painful of closing the school is partially sore and the only joy that the school building stands and intact, though it is now performing other functions. Thanks TO Sakstagala parish to the Council for finding funds for the maintenance of the school building - it is now available as a wide-ranging public centre - there are both activities for local children and a wide range of exhibitions for all stakeholders. A whole range of repairs have been carried out in both classes and corridors, a well-equipped area.
Thank you very much for the former students and teachers who came to the evening. There were more than 100 participants together. There was one graduate who had completed his school 60 years ago, in 1955; memories of how the pupils were summoned in the corridor, and they had to grieve for the death of comrade Stalin, were shared by the 1958 graduate Bernadette Matusevič. On the other hand, four, all spiritual and cheerful, had arrived from the 1965 graduate. Beautiful words were said by the graduate of this graduate Valentine Beitane (Vonda), stressing the main values of life - to be able to share with others and be happy. It is a great pleasure that the event was attended by the Tretzuku and Augustan families, whose willow school was a school institution in three and even four generations. Former graduates with flowers made their teachers Aija and valdi Snigrus, Vanda and Ziedoni Puzuļi, Livia Bondari, Alexandrin Cibli (b. Chepule, Andru Ancani, Diana Vasilyev. Hearty good wishes were given to former permanent directors -- Mother Bondarei and Helen Vasiljeva. We also received a summation from the 60-to-year director Anton Kuar. “Thank you, school and teachers for the knowledge you gave, understanding and tolerance, the strength and patience you raised,” – such words have been recorded in a book of gratitude. Let the candlelight give light and warmth to everyone who was studying and working here.
The event was enriched by the former school student Janis Bartulis, who is now the group's “music collection” from the founder and manager of Riga. There was an exciting songs in both Latvian and Latvian. In particular, the song “Oh, Latgola!” fell into the heart. Thank John for not forgetting his ex-school and his gray-haired teachers. Dace Decsne and alla Kozlovska took care of the evening part of the evening, financially supported BY Sakstagala parish administration - thank them for this!
The participants had not been able to divorce the former schoolmates for a long time, and the conversation was continuing. Many expressed their wish that such meetings would be more frequent because they were all connected by this old school house and memories of long ago. The school has the basis for a temple with three pillars: faith, hope, love. We, people, big, small, rich, famous, and not so rich and famous, no matter what we are, Lolosim the memory of our lives, illuminate and fill it with light, harmony, joy, forgiveness and love.
