Rezekne municipality will participate in the European Health Week

A health week or “Move Week” will be held throughout Europe from 29 May to 4 June, when citizens will be encouraged to participate in various healthy physical activities. Latvia participates in this campaign for the sixth year and the number of participants with each year. The aim of the project is to promote healthy lifestyles and to involve as many people as possible in physical activity. A variety of free events and activities throughout Latvia will take place during the health week, where all citizens are invited, regardless of age, sex and sporting preparedness.
As part of the Latvian Health Week, during this period, a number of healthy and active lifestyle activities will be implemented at the centre of Rezekne municipality and in their youth centres: force exercises and tests, zumb lessons, photo-cycling competitions, team competitions, funny relay for large and small, ingenious games, and Hiking for children, young people, and also adults whose event programmes can be viewed in the annexes.
