Rezekne municipality will be visited by representatives of the municipalities of Norway

On September 14-16, the European Heritage Days will be held in Rēzekne District, where visitors from the Norwegian - aust-Agderes and Arendal municipal delegations will also participate. Aust - Agder county municipality will be represented by Mayor Bråten and vice Mayor Jon-Olav Strand, international liaison officers as well as Setesdal folk dance/music group.
Visitors are scheduled TO attend Lūznavas manor and Bērzgales visits by participating in European Heritage Day events that will be held with the support of the Europe Direct Information Centre in Eastern Latgale.
The cooperation of the Rēzekne municipality and the municipalities of Norway was launched several years ago. In mid-August, the delegation of the city and municipality of Rezekne took part in one of the most important events of the year in Norway – the Arendal Democracy Week.
