“Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Administration” invites external communication organizer/public relations specialist

Local government joint institution “Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Administration” invites the external communication organizer/public relations specialist (on the time of the employee's absence).
Purpose of the post
• to provide a qualitative institution for the activities of the “Rēzekne Special Economic Zone Administration” (hereinafter – institution) in information, advertising, external communication and public relations issues.
Principal duties
• planning, managing and coordinating public relations of the institution (prepare press releases, collaborate with mass media, administer social network profiles of the institution, maintain the website of the institution);
• to ensure the external communication of the applied institution with potential investors, Rēzekne SEZ commercial companies, co-operation partners, local government and state institutions in Latvian, English and Russian languages;
• to ensure the collection, preparation and development of information material in accordance with customer demand and the needs of the institution in Latvian, English and Russian;
• ensure the organisation and conduct of events including delegations, visits, seminars, training, conferences and other events;
represent, present and advertise the institution at various events in Latvia and abroad, including investor visits, exhibitions, conferences, seminars etc.
Requirements for the applicant:
• completed second-level higher education;
a desirable work experience in the capacity of the external communication organizer/public relations specialist;
• knowledge and experience in the application of the protocol and applied label to interpersonal contact in multicultural environments;
• analytical thinking, precision and a high sense of responsibility;
• excellent applied communication, presentation and organisational skills;
• ability to work in a team
• ability to quickly assess the situation and make reasoned decisions, identify priorities, comply with deadlines;
• good skills in working with computer and other office equipment, including website administration;
• knowledge of the national language at the highest level, Russian and English knowledge at the highest level, knowledge of other foreign languages;
category B driving licence and at least 2 years of driving experience.
