Rogovkas for Etnographic Ansablim – 30
On May 10, when Mommy Day was celebrated throughout Latvia, THE Nautrēnu parish in Rogovka was a double festival, as one of the oldest folklore collectors in Rēzekne municipality, Rogovka Etnographic ensemble, looked up for 30 years.
The singing collective has been led by Anna Garancha since its beginning. She told him that the members of the group had first met together in the summer of 1985, when they were asked to sing two people's songs in a free-nature event at the Ludza District Museum. “Tuoli dzeivoj Muna meiluo” and “rivers, bastards” in the sound of Rogovka's ensemble so much liked the listeners that there were other offers to speak.
Over the years Rogovka Etnographic Englishman has enjoyed the listeners in Estonia, Denmark, as well as in the edge of Latvia. With special pride, the participants remember the performance in 1988 in Riga, the second international folklore festival “Baltica”, and a year later in Estonia, when the Romans, together with the folklore friend “Scandinars”, were the only representatives from Latvia under the leadership of Dina and Helmie stalts.
From the beginning, Maruta Belinska and Felix Bogdan singing in all 30 years. A retired teacher, Veneranda's boss, who had recently stopped actively participating in attempts and concerts, was also joined in the anniversary event. The other members of the folklore, too, have been on their own for many years. Folklorists say they're like a family joining a song. “I've been singing from the age of seven,” Maruta Belinska remembers. Antoņina Ludborja also joined her, “i've been sang all my life.” Both working and relaxing, both joy and grief. Another time i wake up at night if sleep does not come, then singing softly. In this collective we are all born with a song, with song growing and living together with a song. '
As Latgale says, folklorists perform not only the songs of the People, but also the spiritual singing, so for many years they are taking part in the candlelight in the vicinity of the neighborhood, and in the church's garden and in the brothers' graves.
Over the years, strong traditions have emerged. One of the favorite participants is celebrating birthdays. “Then we live like kings,” says Dad, “throwing a few euros, making a table and singing so that the ceiling loops and boilers in the kitchen danco!” In these times, the whole life can be sanctioned, that is the joy of the whole thing! '
In the late 1980 s Anna Garancha created the ethnographic ensemble youth collective, which has been present at all major events since its foundation. “Sometimes young people even have to drag the loses, who will go with them, because the wicker is more than a place,” says Anna Garancha. While young people in school are active folklorists, however, the “big” collective is rarely transferred. “It is because young people leave the world after high school,” explains the head of the ethnographic ensemble, “parents are still strong and able to process the land themselves, so young people go looking for work elsewhere, but it is a great pleasure that young people are singing in other parish and nowadays and are active self-employed. It is, of course, not just my earning, because the most important thing is the family, if the family is singing and loving music, then the children are inherited. '
Initially Rogovka Etnographic ensemble was active in Ludza District, but in 1999, with THE accession of Nautrēnu parish to the Rēzekne district, Rogovka Etnographic ensemble also included Rēzekne District, later municipality, in cultural life. As a result of a collective festival, Inara Pleikšne, head of the cultural division of Rezekne, emphasized that Rogovka Etnographic, with his contribution to the identification and preservation of traditional culture, is a valuable pillar of the culture of Rezekne. The participants of the festival received gratitude from both the Latvian National Cultural Centre, the municipality of Rezekne and THE parish administration of Nautrēnu.
On the day of the anniversary, Livija Plavinska, head of the administration OF Nautrēnu parish, said the participants' activity: “the greatest joy that people are not sitting at home and not sad, but they find the opportunity to act and enjoy their songs with their songs.” Thank all the participants and a special, immeasurable thank-you for the spirit of the collective, Anne. 'On the other hand, THE Nautrēnu High School and the Rēzekne municipality's council, Anita Zogota, thanked the children for educating children, the preservation of the songs of Grandma's grandmother, and also the sharp tongue: “every festival you can sing so badly that everyone laughs long after the end of the singing, but nobody is offending.”
Along with the Rogovkiest festival, there were friends: Ilzeskalna folklore set, Viļānu cultural house folklore ensemble “Vilnius”, Rikavas cultural house Etnographic ensemble “Rikava”, Ozolmuižas cultural house folklore set “Water”, Bērzgales cultural house folklore set “Bērzgale”, Vērēmu folklore set “Vōrpa”, Dricānu cultural house folklore set “Bolta vīšņa”, and Zvirgzdenes rural chapel.
Similar to other folklore collectors, “Rogovka” will also be the most anticipated event of this summer in the international folklore festival “Baltica”, whose events will also be held in Rezekne District and the city that year.
