THE RTA rosis festival on the benefit of the rose titula becomes Nautrēnu secondary school graduate Elvita Kotane

On September 4, following the celebration of the celebration event at the Rēzekne Technology Academy (RTA), a traditional rosis festival was held, involving Student 1 students, claiming a rosis or a knight's title.

The event was directed by Mr Elīna Zulane, head of the RTA Study Council, and a student of the study programme “Law Science” Kaspars Lochmelis. The Rose Festival was discovered and a successful new year of study was chosen by the light athlete Gunta Latiseva-Chudare, who started in short distances, was a member of the 2016 Rio games, recently in the world Universiade Taipei won a silver medal at 200 metres. Gunta is a student of THE RTA master's study programme “Law Science” and an active dance group “Jiga” dancer.

In a rosis festival, while performing various tasks, students meet each other in an informal atmosphere and also fight for valuable prizes and honest titles. Also this year, the young people both demonstrated their talents and improvised, performed the jury and the 2016 knight's title won Ilya Lobanov's tasks. This year, the performance of the participants was assessed BY THE Head of THE RTA dance group “Dziga”, Lūznavas Manor Culture and Education Project Head Inga Drele, the HEAD of Education, Language and Design Faculty of RTA, the Vice-President of the Council of Students, the 2014 rosis title won Laura Kudravska and RTA Study direction “Law Science” by Aldis Kaļva.

Seven young people participated in the competition: Elvita Kotane (graduated FROM Nautrēnu secondary school), Edgars Jermacans (Baltinava High School), Gatis Sauliesh (Primary School of Preiles), Anastasia Stepanov (Dagda High School), Dajana McLere (National School of the Ludza District), Roland Rubicki (National Gymnia of Jçkabpils) and Kiril Login (Prize of the Prize). Elvita Kotane became the winner of the roses title, and the knight's title was awarded to Edgar Jermacane. It is important to emphasise that Elvita is the third RTA Rose, who graduated FROM Nautrēnu High School, while Edgars – the second knight who graduated from Baltinava High School. For the first time he was awarded the tituli vice versa and vice versa, received by Dajana McLere and Gatis Sauliesh. It was also the first year that the viewers' sympathy prize was introduced, which was won by Roland Rubiķis.

Rozes svētki (1)Elvita Kotane's hobby is a variety of works, she likes to ride a bicycle, she likes skiing in winter, THE RTA young woman studying in the study program “interior design.” “I prefer a higher education institution that is closer to the place of residence and it was a RTA. I have visited and participated in various activities and competitions organised by the Academy and RTA students. Through various events, i have known the Academy from the lighter side, both with understanding, knowledgeable and communicable teachers, and with very active students, so i also wanted to be a little part of that,” the rosis titula winner told the story of his choice to study directly IN THE RTA. Also, a knight who is an active news—dances, sings and plays theatre – recognises that he has chosen RTA as the Academy is closer to his place of residence, as well as a friendly and creative atmosphere and heard a lot of good reviews from the academy graduates. Edgars RTA will study business (specialisation – marketing management).

The RTA, the magazine “A12”, as well as the roses festival long-time supporters – kebabian “Auscara kebabs” and the cinema “Silvercreen Rēzekne”.
