Public consultation on the construction of a motorcycle route IN Ozolaines civil parish

The municipality OF Rēzekne Municipality Ozolaines parish has received a request from the motorcycling club “CAMK Latgale” with the possibility of renting the municipal property “Ritiņi” in the area of 7.03 ha (former Ritiņi landfill) with cadastre No. 7876001238, the construction of the new motorcycle route. The planned (authorised) use of the land unit, according to the spatial plan of the Rezekne District, is rural and forest land. In accordance with the provisions of the spatial plan of the municipality of Rezekne, THE AUTHORISED USE AND CONSTRUCTION IN RURAL TERRITORY shall:
5.1. RURAL LAND (L).

365.14. tourism, recreational, sports and related buildings and structures.
The motorcycle route is intended to be 1.650 m long, allowing for a MINI motorcycle stage (for children and young people from 4 years to 15), in various groups of motorcycles and quasi-cycles from MX50CC to MX85CC and Q50CC-Q100CC, collecting up to 100 participants, not just from Latvia but also the nearest neighbouring countries.
In developing a motorcycle route project according to Latvian auto-moto Federation standards A class level, it is also possible to organise stages of the Latvian national cup and Latvian championship, as well as to rebuild Latgale Cup competition, which also includes adult high-level athletes in different groups.
So far, the Latgale region, the Rēzekne and Rezekne municipality, have successfully taken part in various motorcycling competitions, representing Latgale's name not only in Latvia, but also in Estonia and Lithuania and other European countries, but our athletes do not have adequate traces to train.
