Singing event at candle day “don't keep candles under the pier”

In the candlelight evening, THE large hall of THE 1 TP50T People's House, in all the corners of the corners, was very busy, because the folklore's “Zealand” took their closest friends, the folklore pools, to spend the evening, enjoy the pleasure of refresher, to mention the dough, to tell funny events from life, and just to spend the evening fun, because, as the belief reports, a lot of candlelight should be laugh for the whole year, and all the work done.
The participants of the event could use their “candlelight”, learn the translations of happiness. Anyone who wished could be an artist, because in the candlelight workshop, under the direction of Nandita Kirejeva, anyone could pour out his candle.
February came to the name of the candle, thanks to the candle day, which was celebrated on 2 February. The lambs were slaughtered around this time and candles made from their fat. The sheep are in rare holdings and candles in the shop.
Candlelight is one of the mother's mother's or Mar's days, also known as the Winter Mar. Most often, our distant ancestors have called this day a candlelight or Sandy, and in Latgale's side, for Gromnyz, for the thunder's wife, because Svecaine is a woman's festival! In the candle, winter meets spring and nature starts to wake up a new cycle of fertility. Svecaine contributes to the beauty of a woman, so women must flower and cheer on this day.
In many of the lessons that our ancestors did on the day of candles, the influence of Christianism was also observed. In the liturgy of Christian Church, the day of the candles is called the day of the planting or presentation, as it is remembered that the most holy Virgin Mary and Joseph carried the baby Jesus to the temple to devote her to the father of heaven. On this day, candles are blessed in churches. The candle symbolizes the spiritual light that illuminates the faith and the fact that Christ is with us. Many of us, in the morning of the candlelight, were in the church to bless the candles for both themselves and the neighbours who were not going to church.
Our ancestors were very well-known natural acquaintances and observers. Here are some of the time observations:
- if the candle day snores or Putin, a warm and flame summer is expected, if the time is dry;
- if the candle day drives water from the roof that Vista can drink, it will be a good year.
- if there is so much snow on the day of the candles that the black bull remains from the back of the snow, it will be a fruitful year.
