The electronic registration of pupils for participation IN THE SEA summer employment event starts

The homepage of the State Employment Agency (SEA) starts the electronic registration of pupils for participation in THE school summer employment measure implemented BY THE SEA. Student registration is started gradually - each country region has its own registration start date!
On 13 May from at 16.00 For participation in the summer employment event, students who wish to work in Latgale during summer holidays begin to register.
On 14 May from at 16.00 For participation in the summer employment event, students who want to work in Zemgale during summer holidays will be able to start recording.
15 May from the 16.00 Participation in the summer employment event will be able to start registering pupils who want to work in Kurzeme during summer holidays.
16 May from plkst. 16.00 For participation in the summer employment event, students who want to work in Vidzeme during summer holidays will be able to start registering.
17 May from plkst. 16.00 Participation in the summer employment event will be able to start registering pupils who want to work in the Riga region during summer holidays.
The pupil must register in the region and municipality in whose territory he wants to work! For information ON THE NVA website, a table is available with the list of regions, provinces and branches. If questions arise, the student may contact an employee who is responsible for the summer employment event at the relevant SEA branch, the contact list is available on THE NVA website.
As a result of the electronic registration of the event, students will be able to do so by 17 August of that year, so that all pupils wishing to register will be able to do so. However, the student registration does not yet guarantee involvement in the event, as the number of national co-financed jobs is limited! THE SEA plans to create 6 388 jobs for pupils today.
The rules for the organisation of the event provide that the pupil may agree with a specific employer on the place of employment and the period of employment before registration. If the student has not agreed with the employer, in the order of registration of the application, he or she will receive an invitation to participate in the competition for vacant jobs by telephone or e-mail.
Participation in the event may be made by young people aged 15-20 who attend General, Special or Vocational Educational Institutions.
