The “sport of sport” project is implemented by the Latvian Olympic Committee (LOK) for a third year. But only this year that chance was given to us. The project rules foresee that there should be no fewer students than 16 in the class, so in our school five times a week, the 3 rd class of sport.

The aim of the project is to improve the physical preparedness of all the students involved in the course of four years, giving motivation to engage in sport.

The official opening of the third season of the “Sport of Sports” project took place on 2 November at the Vidzeme Olympic Centre, which brings together 82 classes from 73 educational institutions throughout Latvia. As a result, five times a week, or every day in sports, more than 3 000 students from 130 classes throughout Latvia. Including the 3 rd class of our school.

The opening ceremony started with THE speech of LOK President Aldon Vruļevska, followed BY LOK Secretary-General and project ideas author Jorge Tikmer's wishes for pupils and teachers. In the opening ceremony, each class received the flag of the “sport all class” project, which symbolizes their affiliation to the project.
