Sakstagala youth initiative project “dance in its style” has been successful

On May 2, Sakstagala parish young people with financial support of the Rēzekne municipality organised the initiative “dance in their style!”. The aim of the project was to introduce Sakstagala young people with modern dances, promote their dancing skills, desire to dance and actively spend their free time. “Dance in his style” was a contemporary dance event with the horeograph, the dance studio “Dynamic Hit”, Diana Garanz. Diana tried to teach young people the basic movements, the sense of rhythm, the story and coordination.

Modern dance is an effective way of developing both physical skills and activism, which in turn contributes to the development of creative personality. The project “dances in its style” gave young people the opportunity to meet modern dances, actively and usefully spend their free time, realize their ambitions, learn to plan, organise events and collaborate with cultural house and parish administration.
