Internal spaces will be restored in the Red Church

In July 2018, major renovation works were completed in the Roman Catholic Church of the Red Virgin Marie, the project “Renewal of the Rooms of the Catholic Catholic Church of Sardinia”, which was financed by the association “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” IN THE EAFRD Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 activities 19.2.2. “Place potential development initiatives”.
Sarkaņi is one of the most distinguished and oldest places of God's cult (Sunplaces) in Latvia and is the purpose of pilgrims. The Church altar is the second most prominent Sunday of the wonderful miracle, which has been preserved since 17.gs. It is a national cultural monument. The painting was restored in 2013.
The aim of the project is to ensure the preservation, accessibility to the public and more efficient socio-economic use of the Roman Catholic Church of the Virgin Virgin.
Repairs were launched in June 2017. They were performed BY SIA “Rezekne Building Production No. 5”.
The total amount of the project is EUR 30 468,50 (with VAT). Eligible costs OF EUR 30 000,00, ineligible costs: EUR 468,50. The aid intensity is 90 %, with the result that the public funding is EUR 27 000.00, the own funds amounting to EUR 3468.50. Support from the municipality of Rezekne for co-financing for the preservation of co-financing for the preservation of cultural monuments, as well as the collection of donations from the members of the parish was received to cover the co-financing share.
The church's cleaning and sorting works are currently in place so that the first mission can be held in early September. For the time of the Mass, please keep track of the information in the Sarkau parish house and the media.
