The land force in the anti-personnel team and 2. Unscheduled battle readiness test is carried out in the National Guard District

On 16 August, an unscheduled test of battle preparedness in the land force team and 2 was launched. In the National Guard District, during which the land force team units perform tactical march to Latgale in order to verify the willingness of units to expand, their compatibility, and the ability to perform specified national defence tasks - both in the composition of the unit and in conjunction with 2. National Guard District. During the battle readiness test in Latgale, the skills of patrol in populated areas and non-populated areas are developed. Today, on 17 August, the military transport movement through the cities of Rezekne and the municipality will continue.
The task of verifying the preparedness of the battle is to verify and exercise not only the unit's management skills to receive and give orders, manage the operation and coordinate the execution of the task, but also verify and exercise the capability of its sub-units to carry out the projections to the object, deployment and execution of the task.
The attention of the people! 
In the National Armed Forces, the summer training cycle will continue intensively in August. The military equipment of both Latvian and Allied Armed Forces will be moving along Latvian roads during the training and exercises, while military aeroplanes and helicopters will be flying in the airspace.
The National Armed Forces shall ask the people with the understanding of the ongoing training, the short-term noise, the overflight of military aircraft and the possible temporary burdensome of traffic movements.
