Seminar for entrepreneurs on tax control in the company

On March 2, the municipality of Rezekne organizes a seminar for entrepreneurs “tax control of the State Revenue Service in the company”.
The aim of the seminar is to introduce taxpayers (business leaders, accountants, lawyers) with rights and requirements in the case OF SRS inspections, thereby reducing conflicts between SRS officials and entrepreneurs and promoting a legal environment, providing taxpayers with useful advice on checks and their forms, non-standard situations, as well as procedures in accordance with tax law requirements; issues, problems and solutions.
Time of the seminar: from at 10.00 – 15.00 (registration from plot) 09.40), venue: Rēzekne municipality in the small hall of the municipality, Rezekne, free alley 95 A.
Some of the topics covered by the seminar:

• How are companies selected FOR SRS checks and how can VIDs become more focused?
• Duties and rights of the taxpayer and THE SRS. Planning of tax control measures.
• What are your rights during the check and how to exercise them in practice?
• What errors do the operators most often allow during the inspection?
• In which cases can THE SRS suspend the operation of the company or initiate criminal proceedings? How can you turn THE SRS errors into good?
• How can i cancel the penalties and penalties imposed BY THE SRS?
• Extension of the period of payment of tax debts.
• How do i prevent VAT audit savings from deducting input tax?
• Non-standard cases! Don't tell THE SRS. What future prospects?
• Case law in disputes with THE SRS. Various situations from the practice of lecturers. Court cases.

At each topic, an examination of different situations from the personal practices of the lecturers and the experience of the participants, as well as answers to individual questions.
Lecturers: 
Guntars Ivdris, graduate lawyer, master of social sciences; experienced inspector of the inspection department in the financial police administration of the State Revenue Service, a lecturer of the Latvian Police Academy with specialisation in financial offences, a member of the board of directors of SIA “Latvian Business Advisory Association”; currently: a partner of the law office “LEX DOMINANTE”, a practitioner solicitor in commercial activities.
Raivis Bush, a diplomat lawyer; an experienced inspector of the inspection department in the financial police administration of the State Revenue Service, a lecturer of the Latvian Police Academy with specialisation in financial offences; currently: a solicitor, a consultant on issues affecting private sector relations with public administration institutions, tax advisor, Chairman of the Board of SIA “Baltic Production Group”, a member of THE Ministry of Economics of THE Ministry of Economics, and a member of the artisanal council. One of the founding members of the Latvian law association.
The participants of the seminar will receive a certification of the seminar hearing and useful handouts.
