Seminar on financing opportunities in the production of local products

Association “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” on 20 December 2016 at 9.30 organizes an informative seminar on “business start-up and development opportunities in the production of local products”, which will be held in the small hall of the municipality of Rezekne (liberation alley 95A, Rezekne).
We invite producers (craftsmen, domestic producers) of Rezekne and Viļānu, as well as any interested party who intends to commence economic activity in the production of local products, including the processing of agricultural products, to participate in a seminar.
The information seminar will be held in two sessions, the informative part and the practical part.
The information session will provide information on the role and opportunities of local producers in rural tourism, the attraction of THE LEADER programme with THE aid intensity OF 70% for the start-up and development of local products. The participants will also be informed about other topical fundraising and product sales opportunities in the local market. The experience of the implementation of LEADER projects and the production of milk products will be shared by the cooperative society “Viļāni”, which combines small and medium-sized milk producers.
In the practical part, the participants of the seminar will be able to learn about the most important prerequisites for successful entrepreneurship, how to add additional value to the product and sell more expensive, as well as work in practice (debate, practical work). The seminar also provides for individual consultations on financing conditions for LEADER projects.
