Seminar on developments in the implementation of integrated plant breeding

State Plant Protection Service in co-operation with SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” Rezekne Consultation Bureau, on 6 April of that year at At 10:00 Gardens Street 7a, a free seminar is held in Rezekne for farmers on the activist of the introduction of integrated plant cultivation, fertilizers, arable crops and pests, their limitation.
The representatives of the State Plant Protection Service will inform farmers regarding developments in the implementation of integrated plant cultivation on farms, the performance of field monitoring in the fields, the determination of the level of prevalence and development of pests, the completion of the field accounting system (field history), the most significant field bean diseases, pests, their containment, the requirements for the use of fertilizers, the most significant cereals and rapeseed diseases, pests and the possibilities of limitation thereof in the integrated breeding system.
It is recalled that, in accordance with Cabinet Regulation No. 1056 of 15 September 2009, the general principles and requirements for the integrated cultivation, storage and labelling of agricultural products and control procedures are mandatory for all professional users of plant protection products, as well as for persons who do not have a certificate for the purchase and use of plant protection products for the second registration class, but which utilise the services provided in the field of plant protection.
