Seminar in Rezekne on Integrated Plant Protection in Latvia

SIA “Latvian Centre for Rural Consultation and Education”, within the framework of the activities of the National Rural Network of Latvia, in cooperation with the State Plant Protection Service (VAAD) organizes a free educational seminar “Integrated Plant Protection in Latvia”. Seminar will be held this year On April 8, at 10.00 garden street 7a, Rezekne, seminar hall.
During the educational seminar, representatives of THE VAAD will inform regarding the protection of integrated plants in Latvia, the agrochemical research of soils, its significance and the correct removal of soil samples, soil liming and the nature of the fertilisation plan and the basic principles of compilation. Information on optimum agrotechnics, the importance of plant change in integrated plant protection, the various methods of containment of pests, the monitoring of pests and its importance in integrated plant protection will be obtained. In turn, representatives of SIA “Latvian Rural Consultation and Education Centre” will talk about the basic principles of gross coverage and its assessment for arable crops, on projects to promote the competitiveness of the crop sector and the procedures for receiving direct payments to farmers.
