Teachers learned the safe and responsible use of the Internet

On October 14, AT Nautrēnu secondary school, the training courses for teachers of Latvian local government training centre “Internet responsible and safe use” were organised. Courses for students, Nautrēnu secondary schools and Bērzgales primary school teachers, as well as for teachers of the Current Forestry School and Nautrēnu pre-school educational institutions, were offered the opportunity to familiarise themselves with threats on the Internet, violations on the Internet, as well as with recommended learning methods at work with pupils on the responsible and safe use of the Internet.
Teachers were introduced to the importance of the Internet today, stressing that every user should choose what information to be placed on the Internet in order to protect themselves from potential threats. At the end of the course, teachers received the methodological material “responsible and secure use of the Internet”, which will be useful in day-to-day work, presenting students with various topics related to the use of the Internet. Teachers will develop hour and lesson plans, talk about it with students. After the work of the house, teachers will receive a certificate of continuing education.
