Sports

On the day of Latvia's centuries, Lāčplēsis Day big and small fountains, as well as visitors gathered together to participate in the running “together we can!” The run was organized in five different age groups and a range of different lengths.
This year we were pleasantly surprised at the great activity of people. Thirty-eight participants took part in the total run. I did n't miss it, too, with loud encouragement. Neither the intrusive wind nor the warmth could diminish the rattle of the runners and the azar.
Before running, everyone, along with a torch-lit torch, went out to see where and how far they had to run. When you select a running place, we take care of the safety of runners so that there is no vehicle movement in the vicinity and should not cross the street.
The running participants were broken down by age group. Children up to five years of age performed their distance with their parents. The participants from five to seven years ran a distance of one circle (about 500 m), eight to twelve, two circles, thirteen to twenty-one, three circles, and the age group twenty-two plus three circles.
After running, the participants in the cultural house were fond of hot tea and sweets.
The winners of the first three prizes were awarded with medals and diplomas in each age group, the other participants receiving low prize prizes.
In the age group up to 5 years, Jānis Saveyev was fought in 1 st place, running with Mom, and 2 nd Nancy Saveyeva, running with Daddy. Between 5 and 7 years of age, Pavel Minin, 2 nd place – Roland Anufriev, 3 rd place – Rinalds Razgalis. From 8 to 12 years of age, 1 st place for Victor Bazulim, 2 nd place – Kasparam Sawasev and 3 rd place – Elgar Razgalim. Since there was a particularly large number of participants in this age group (20), the three best girls' results were also established – 1 st place for Marika Uļjanov, 2 nd place for Cynthia Glyde, 3 rd place for Adrianai Aleksejeva. In the age group 13-21, 1 st place for Christapam Oberman, 2 nd place – Mikhail Sazonov and 3 rd place – Ilvar Razgalim. In the age group twenty-two plus 1 st place for Erikam Probukam, 2 nd place for Edgar Kļaviņš, 3 rd place for Inese Probukai. In particular, i would like to celebrate the senior member of the run, Janin Screbeli, who was over sixty, but was in a rank with all and honor.

At the end of the event, the runners set off the lit candles at the school's gym wall as a memorial for a long-standing sports teacher, a real patriot of his country and parish, the sports “Lāčplēsim” Uldis Kairišam.
The participants in the event all confirmed that not the victory or loss in this run was the most important. It was the unity of people, patriotism and, of course, a beautiful gift in the centuries of the country.
