Fine porcelain and yogendile Christmas postcards - new Lūznavas manor exhibitions

Sunday, December 2, at 15.00 The opening of new exhibitions and the opening of Christmas waiting time are invited BY Lūznavas manor. By January 6, there will be an exhibition of the works of ceramic Cynthia Login porcelain and an exhibition of the Jews' Christmas postcards, the opening of which is a musical visit by Gunta Rasima (the group “excluding VAT”) on Sunday.
Lūznavas Manor, in collaboration with the Riga Young Still Center, offers to look at the Christmas and New Year's postcard exhibition in Luznava. As soon as 2019, the museum “Riga Young Still Center” will celebrate its 10-year anniversary. It is the only museum in the Baltic States that is collecting, studying and promoting the cultural history heritage of Riga. There are more than 8 thousand items in the collection, part of which is an annual artifacts. THE exhibition to be seen AT THE Lūznavas Manor will present the Christmas and new annual postcards of the museum “Riga YogendStill Centre”. At the beginning of the 20 th century, luxurious and furnished postcards were an important part of the festival for both senders and recipients. The postcards are pleased with both elegant, furnished ladies and snowy forest landscapes.
Second event: Exhibition of the works of ceramic Cynthia Login. Cynthia, after studying the bachelor's studies at the Latvian Art Academy, returns to childhood home, Preilos, and develops her ceramic workshop there. The name of the Cynthia Login workshop is “Piece of Touch”, which is translated from the English language to “a piece of touch”, but the first letters of the words come together as the word “pot” – “pot”. Each receptacle made by Cynthia provides some part of the ceramic touch. In the workshop, both fine porcelain vessels and large clay bowls are created, jewellery and other ceramic works are created. Cynthia's window has also been experimented with the design of the silhouettes of various meadows. Ideas for their dishes in ceramic rod everyday – looking for nature, travel, and then, in the most unexpected moments, they jump together. Cynthia likes to make dishes without sketches, not to think and let her hands work.
With the opening of exhibitions on December 2, 15.00 Lūznavas manor will begin Christmas waiting time. The guests are waiting for scented Christmas drinks and peppercakes, as well as the musical visit of the group's “no VAT” musician. Both exhibitions AT Lūznavas in Manor from December 2 to January 6 will be seen every day (except Monday, then the estate closed) from 9.00 to 16.00.
