Sports club “Magnen” has acquired sports suits

The association “sports club Magnen” participated in the Latvian Rural Development Programme 2014-2020 Sub-measure 19.2. “Implementation of the action under a community-led local development strategy” in activity 19.2.2. In the 2 nd round of the project contest launched by the “Rēzekne District Communities Partnership” of the “place potential development initiative” and submitted at No. R2 .2. Development of “Citizens' Initiatives, Lifelong Learning” project “Purchase of sports suits for sports club Magnen”.
The association “sports club Magnen” has successfully implemented the project by purchasing the SIA “VIVA SPORT” running sports suite (men's and women's jackets, shirts with short and long sleeves, running trousers, sports bags).
Women's and men's jackets, shirts with short sleeves and sports bags have been printed, indicating the name of the sport club. Sports shirts with short hands have also been printed on the Rēzekne municipality logo, thus emphasising the presence of the “Magnen” sports club in the municipality of Rezekne.
The purpose of the project is to purchase sports suits for the active participation of the sports club “Magnen” in running, orientation competitions and organising sports events in parish, municipality, national level, thus promoting the opportunities of active lifestyle in Rezekne municipality.
The total eligible cost of the public benefit project “Acquisition of sports suits for the sports club Magnen” is EUR 4662.24. The pre-financing sources of the total cost of the project are: 10% or EUR 466.22 - funding of the association “sports club Magnen”, 90% or EUR 4196.02 - the requested public funding from the European Union's European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
In 2018, members of the “Magnen” sports club, representing Rezekne municipality, have participated in various sports events: orientation competitions, running serial “BigBank running Latvia”, Lattelecom Riga marathon, trail runners, runners (107) “Riga-Valmiera” (Sergejs Kuzmins, Guntis profit, Guntis Rasims, Ivars Noviks), Latvian championship trail in Sigulda Mountain Marathon (Sergejs Kuzmins, 1 st place in his age group). It should be noted that the running serial BigBank runs Latvia in separate stages in its age group:
Sandra Dervinik Valmiera marathon 6 th place in 42.195 km distance, also a total of 6 th at 42.195 km distance, 6 th of Rezekne semi-marathon at 21,0975 km distance; Ritai Kļavina at Daugavpils semi-marathon 4 th place in the 10 km distance; Sergei Kuzminam Valmiera marathon 6 th place at 42.195 km distance, 4 th of Rezekne semi-marathon 4 th place in the distance of 21,0975 km.
The members of the “Magnen” sports club have no barrier to go to a wonderful running along the street and beyond – the main is determination and proper clothing! To achieve the goals set and meet in the 2019 running season!
