The taekvondo sports club “KUMGAN” starts at Ogre International Tournament

The annual sound is related not only to the award of different titles, awards and honesty ceremonies, but also to the closing competitions of many sports. There are several taekvondo clubs in Rezekne, one of the most famous is the Rēzekne sports club 'KUMGAN' (coach Alexander Klimanov) who took part in the 25 th International Ogre tournament at the end of the year.
The Ogre Championship has traditionally gathered a large number of participants and is a reference event for the new fans of this sport. On December 20, Ogre gathered over 300 participants, representing 5 countries: Belarus, Estonia, Lithuania, Russia and Latvia.
The Rēzekne sports club “KUMGAN” was represented by 9 young athletes who won 7 prizes. In the category of children, two second places: Daniel Chiževska and Marekam Gusāne, and one 3 rd place for Leonam Bričev. In the category of adolescents and adults four 3 rd places: Arthur Petrov, Arnolds Goodkov, Arthur Chiževsky and coach Alexander Klimanov.
Participation in competitions would not be possible without the financial support of the parents of young athletes and the council of Rezekne. Thanks to the Rēzekne council for support and hoping for co-operation in the following year,
