Warmed Jānis Kpaja Sakstagala primary school

A new form is acquired by Jānis Kpaja Sakstagala primary school. Since May, warming works have been carried out in the educational institution. The aim of the project is to reduce primary energy consumption and contribute to improving energy efficiency in the primary school building. The main activities of the project are Sakstagala Jānis KCo. the construction of the construction work of the primary school building, the replacement of the old windows, the reconstruction of the heating system and construction supervision.
The expected results of the project are a reduction of the primary energy consumption of 295 745,94 kilowatt hours per year, a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions per year of 106,09 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent. The planned heating energy consumption is 109.29 kilowatt hours per square metre per year. The construction works of the project are planned for 6 months from 28.3.2018, the total amount of works is EUR 201681.22 without VAT.
Increasing energy efficiency is one of THE EU's priorities, including Latvia's priorities. It is also included in the Rēzekne District Development Strategy (Rēzekne District Development Programme 2012-2018). Strategic part. Volume II). On the basis of the survey of the population of Rezekne, one of the major problems of the municipality is the need for repairs in schools. 10% respondents indicated that the financial resources should be invested in the repair and reconstruction projects of schools etc. The municipality of Rēzekne has assessed that Sakstagala Jānis KCo. 's primary school is one of the priority buildings in improving energy efficiency. The planned project is in accordance with the development programme of the municipality of Rezekne in 2012-2018 and included in its investment plan.
The project is necessary and important in order to be able to operate the primary school building in the future, contributing to the appropriate technical condition of the building, ensuring the microclimate of pupils, teachers and technical workers, promoting energy efficiency and making efficient use of financial resources. In particular, the winners of the project are Sakstagala Jānis KCo. Schools of primary school, teachers, technical staff, and school guests. The beneficiaries are also public as a whole due to reduced greenhouse gas emissions.
